I came across a Gnomn school video tutorial that show me how to build a house in Maya.
Structurally i learnt how to put together and shape together a house like building but the only problem i came across with this tutorial is that it use the old method of making things in maya as the tutorial built the house with nurbs primitives rather then using polygons. I didnt no the difference until alan explained to me that they are harder to texture so i didnt bother finishing the full tutorial. But in doing this it made me take a feel to the structure of a road as i played with building duplicating many to simulate some kind of suburban street.
