When starting this assignment I had been given source material folder 6, which contained a extract from Arthur Conan Doyle's novel The Lost World. This book is about a scientific expedition headed by the larger than life Professor Challenger, that sets out to explore a plateau in South America that remains frozen in time from the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth. After reading I found this book to be intriguing. The writing is really imaginative an drew into the plot very quickly. It was also interesting to see the views of a generation long gone. Which made me start to conjure up a rough idea of what I could make the world look like.
